What are my options for message delivery?

There are a few ways that you can receive your messages from SAS. You can use any combination of methods to suit your needs, and we can send your messages to as many contacts as you require.

Email
After a message is entered into our system, you will receive immediate notification via email.

Text (SMS) Message
After a message is entered into our system, you will receive immediate notification via text message.

Call Patching
For any and all calls (whether standard, urgent, or from a particular party), our operators can patch calls through directly to a number that you specify.
 
NOTE:
  • Messages are always accessible via your secure web portal.
  • In addition to the written messages that the operators notate, MP3s of your calls can also be listened to via your web portal. Recordings are saved for 60 days.
  • For security purposes, it is not possible to call in for your messages. Our operators do not have access to that information. Once a message is entered, you can retrieve it via your web portal.
  • For those individuals, organizations, and agencies that meet the definition of a covered entity or business associate under HIPAA, messages cannot be conveyed by electronic means. Instead, you will receive a text alerting you that there is a new message waiting in your secure web portal.
