Accessing Billing Details in SAS Desk

Want to see the current month's usage at-a-glance and find out if you are on the best rate plan? Need to upgrade or downgrade your plan before the end of a billing cycle? Or how about quickly updating the auto pay method on file for your account? No problem - you can do all of that and more via the Billing page in your SAS Desk portal!

To access the Billing page, click the credit card icon in the upper right corner of SAS Desk.



Read on for a quick overview of the billing features that we've added to make your life easier. In this tutorial, you'll learn about: Plan Details

At the top left of the page, you'll see Plan details for the Current month.



At the top right of the page, you'll see Next month's Plan details.

If your account has been automatically upgraded for the current month, or if your rate plan has been reduced for the current month, the Base Rates, Minutes Included and Overage Rates may differ.



Usage Statistics

Below your plan details, you'll see Usage statistics that have been calculated as of 11:59 PM Pacific Time on the prior day.


Plan & Billing Cycle

Take a look at the Plan & billing cycle line graph to see where your usage falls each day of the current month, based on what your plan allows.



The graph will display three parameters:
  • Plan limit - shown in orange, hover anywhere over this line to show you the number of minutes included in your plan. Note that if you are the Economy plan, this will be set to zero. 
  • Cost effective to - shown in green, this is the number of minutes that you will need to fall under for your current rate plan to be cost-effective. Hover anywhere over the line to show you the usage threshold for your plan. Once you hit that line, you would save money by upgrading to a higher plan.
  • Current month's usage - each day, the blue line will show you the total usage on your line for the month, calculated as of 11:59 PM PST the night before.


Assessing & Choosing Your Rate Plan

If your usage falls within your selected rate plan, you'll see the Hooray! message in green on the right.



Under Choose your plan, you'll see all available SAS rate plans. Your current plan will be indicated by a green outline along with the word Subscribed.



If your usage falls above or below your selected rate plan, you'll see the Oh No! message in red on the right.



No worries, though. Scroll down to Choose your plan, and click the green Suggested button to change your account to the plan that we recommend.



Billing Profile

At the bottom left of the screen, you'll see your Billing profile. This will show you any Open balance along with any amount that may be Past due.

If your account is past due, you may need to update your auto pay method. Just click on the Update button below Payment method to add a new card, and the changes will be live on your account within 24 hours.

Want to see the charges on your account? Click the View button under Invoices to be redirected to your billing portal, and you'll have access to every invoice that you've received to-date.
