Can you collect my callers Social Security Number or Credit Card?
We are unable to collect any part of a callers Social Security Number or credit card number within the script, as we are not permitted to store that type of information. However, we are able to go out to your website and collect the last 4 digits of a caller's Social Security Number, or the full credit card number to process a payment. Please note the following:
- Websites must be authorized before agents can access them.
- Once the agent leaves the script to access your site, call recordings will automatically turn off, and remain off for the remainder of the call.
