Can SAS block numbers from calling my line?
If you are receiving unwanted calls to your line, such as solicitation or prank calls, there are a few ways this issue can be addressed.
SAS can block numbers internally if you are on our Basic platform. Please send our Customer Service team an email, or give us a call at 1-866-688-8912 and provide the details.
If you are on our Flex platform, you can block numbers right from your online portal. However, if the caller is blocking their number, contact our Customer Service team via email, or give us a call at 1-866-688-8912 since that must be done internally.
- Contact your phone provider to have them block specific numbers from being able to complete calls to your number. This is the best way to manage call blocking.
- Add your land line or cell phone number to the Federal Trade Commission's National Do Not Call Registry. Most telemarketers should not call your number once it has been on the registry for 31 days.
- If there are a handful of specific individuals you do not wish to accept calls from, we could provide additional instructions in the script for operators to close the call once they have confirmed that the caller's name is on your list.
