Can you answer my calls differently based on time of day?

Yes. This can be done in two ways.

  1. We can have our professional recording artist create custom upfront recordings that will play for your callers based on the time of day and the day of the week.
  2. Separate greetings can be built into your script using a Logic Option. We will program your script so that the operators will greet your callers based on the hours of operation you provide. The business hours listed in your primary profile will govern which path and greeting the operators will follow. Because of the way scripts are programmed, adding separate scripted greetings depending on business hours may result in a slight delay while the operators click to open the greeting step.

It is important to note that we are not able to program the account for the operators to answer your calls with, "Good morning," "Good afternoon," and "Good evening," as the appropriate greeting is displayed based on two time frames: Business vs. After-Hours.

Scripted Greetings and Message Notification

While one profile is responsible for Business vs. After Hours call handling, you can assign the paths within the Business and After Hours steps to different profiles, allowing you to change message notification to accommodate your schedule.
