Scheduling automatic call reports

A variety of usage statistics are available in your secure web portal. Checking these reports can help you sort through calls, find out how many minutes you've used, view your peak call hours, and more. The Scheduled Reports feature also gives you the ability to configure daily, weekly or monthly reports that will automatically be sent to any email addresses you specify. Reports are emailed at 11:30PM Eastern Time. If you are in Pacific Time, for example, you will receive your report at 8:30PM.

In this tutorial, you'll learn about:

Adding Scheduled Reports

Click on the Reports tab on the left-hand navigation panel.

The default reports view will show you the  Dashboard. To configure your customized report, click the Scheduled link in the grey bar at the top of the screen.

On the Scheduled reports screen, click the  Add new button on the far right to schedule a report.

The  Add scheduled report pop-up will open. Here, you'll enter recipients' email addresses, and set the FrequencyScheduleType of report, and Timeframe.

Entering Email Recipients

In the  E-mail input area, enter any email address(es) that you would like to receive reports, and separate multiple email addresses by a comma. The email input field has a 400-character limit, so you'll need to restrict the total length of your email group to 400 characters.

Setting the Report Frequency

There are 3 options for how often you'd like to receive reports:  DailyWeekly, and Monthly. Select the radio button to the left of your desired frequency.

Daily Frequency

For Daily reports, click the check boxes below the days of the week to determine which days you'd like the report to be sent.

Weekly Frequency

Weekly reports will run every Monday with a set timeframe.

Monthly Frequency

Monthly reports will run on the first day of the month with a set timeframe.

Setting the Report Schedule

To the right of  Schedule, use the Start and End calendar pop-ups to set the dates that you would like your report to run.

Start Date

If you've selected Daily report and set the start date as the current date, the report will not start until the next calendar date.

If you've selected Weekly report, and the current day is a Monday, the report will not start until the following Monday.

If you selected Monthly report, the report will not start until the first day of the next calendar month.

End Date

To schedule reports past the calendar End date, which extends to 6 months from the current calendar date, you'll need to edit your report settings every 6 months.

Select the Type of Report

The  Type of report dropdown menu contains several options from which to choose:

  • Inbound Calls
  • Outbound Calls
  • Calls Per Script
  • Calls Per Profile
  • Minutes

Only one report per type is permitted. For example, if you've scheduled a Daily report of Calls Per Script, you cannot have a Monthly report of the same type.

The report data  Timeframe options will differ depending on the report Frequency you select.
