How to use the Search feature in Call Script Builder
NOTE: As of Spring 2020, some internal and user-facing SAS systems have been updated to better suit the needs of our customers. Because of these updates, your online portal view may look different than the pictures shown below. If your portal looks different, please refer to this article for updated instructions.
The Search feature in the Call Script Builder can search through every aspect of your call script including Step Labels, Text Areas, Field Names, Transfer Numbers, and Outcomes. Search your entire script to make changes on the fly.
In this tutorial, we'll show you how to access the Search feature and what the Search results will look like.
1. To search your script, you'll need to have the Call Script Builder open.
2. You'll see two tabs at the top of the builder: Call Script and Search. Click on the Search tab to bring up the Search box.
3. To search your script, you'll simply enter the search parameter in the input box and click the Search button. For example, let’s say that you want to make a change to a Warm Transfer number and you know that the script step has the name Rob in it. Type Rob into the search box, then click Search. Any script steps that include the name Rob will be displayed under the Search box as they are in the example below.
4. With your search results displayed, you can click on the step on the left to bring up the script editor on the right. Make any necessary edits and click Save when you're done.
That's it! You've just looked up a name in your call script, edited the step, and saved your changes.
