How to Customize Your Hold Music

While SAS offers one of the best answer rates in the answering service industry, holds do occasionally happen. And when they do, you can equip your account with your own custom hold music to help cut down on caller abandonment rates. Just follow these simple steps:


Within SAS Flex, go to your User icon in the upper right-hand corner and click Settings


Then, on the left-hand side under Telephony, select Music Library.


Next, click the Browse or Add buttons to upload an .mp3 or .wav file.

Note: The maximum file size is 5MB. 

Once your file has been uploaded, you can click on the 3-dot menu icon on the right-hand side of your screen where you will have the option to Play, Rename or Delete your file.

Note: Instead of playing music, you can also record some information about your business to play while your callers wait on hold.
