Optimize Your Calendly Settings for SAS Agents

Calendly is a free online scheduling platform that can connect to your existing calendar to help you schedule appointments. If you'd like SAS agents to book appointments for you using Calendly, there are a few settings you can configure to optimize how our agents interact with your system.

Turn off Data Retention

Within Calendly, there is a setting that can be toggled on that retains form data, which can negatively impact SAS agents who are using the platform to schedule on behalf of your callers. If Data Retention remains on, then any previous callers' data may auto-populate when our agents go out to your site to schedule an appointment. Here's how to turn off Data Retention to ensure efficient and secure bookings.

Within Calendly, click Scheduling on the left-hand navigation panel.

Click the 3-dot menu icon on the right side of the meeting SAS is scheduling for and click Edit.

On the right-hand panel, click More options.

Under the Invitee form section, uncheck the Autofill Invitee check box.

When you are finished, click Save changes.

Lock Your Time Zone

Another issue that occurs with some Calendly users is that their time zone is not locked, which makes it difficult for SAS agents who are answering calls in a different time zone. Here's how to lock your time zone:

Within Calendly, click Scheduling on the left-hand navigation panel.

Click the 3-dot menu icon on the right side of the meeting SAS is scheduling for and click Edit.

On the right-hand panel, click More options.

Under the Booking page options section, click the Lock the timezone option.

When you are finished, click Save changes.
