Copying Scripts in SAS Flex
Whether you want to make updates to your current script, or you want to add an additional line to handle calls for a new business venture, a separate department or location, our Copy Script feature is a great tool to use to make adding or editing scripts super easy.
In this article we'll discuss:
How to Copy a Script
Next Steps After Copying a Script
After you've copied a script, you can begin updating it per your needs. Here are some things to keep in mind:
- If the new script will be used for a separate business, department, or location, make sure you edit the Script Name accordingly.
- If the new script will be used for a separate business, department, or location, make sure you check each Closing block to ensure the correct Profiles and Outcomes are selected.
- If the new script will be used for a separate business, department, or location, you'll want to make sure the additional Script Options have been configured to match the new business, department, location, etc. This may require you to create new FAQs, business hours and a new Google Maps integration.
- Once the new script has been updated accordingly, be sure to assign a number to the script so that agents can begin taking calls. If the script is for a new business, department or location, you may need to purchase an additional number. If you have copied the script just to make updates without interfering with the live script, you can just unassign and reassign your current SAS number accordingly.
